A General Rant – One Worth Having!

Motivation comes in many forms yet so many of us refuse to wake up each morning positive minded & raring to go.

We live in a society today which is filled with not only the youth, it would be wrong of me to generalize in such a way, but the majority of our human race who much prefer to sit infront of their computer screens Looking at their Facebook news feeds & forever updating their twitter. I’m not questioning the fact that people seem to have far too much time on their hands I’m simply looking into the lack of determination many of us have.

I go into work each and everyday and I find myself in the same room as people who are far more concerned about what someone’s status said last night rather than trying to better themselves/achieve their goals they once had. This brings me onto parent’s and how some get in the way of their child wanting to achieve their ambitions, some are so stuck in their ways and forget to acknowledge, or even refuse to see how you can become just as sucessful doing what you enjoy and are truly passionate about in comparison to the lawyer or doctor that every parent see’s in their child. I guess the point i’m trying to make is that everyone needs a little inspiration, for it to be in your ways to adapt to todays day and age or to simply push you those few steps further to get you to where you’ve always wanted to be.

Many could say blogging is just as much as a form of twenty first century art which also fills the hole of boredom, a bit like social networking, but I can only strongly disagree. All forms of social networking are to express and give you that “freedom of speech” however, I ask you, if we were to take a look at our news feeds how many updates are based on total irrelevance, the majority. I can’t stress enough how heartbreaking this is for our generation, which brings me back to my original point; the lack of determination in the real world. Our dreams won’t become a reality until you apply yourself. Propell yourself to the future and vision where you would like to see yourself, and make it happen, for I’m sure it will be far better than spending hours on end wasting such valuable time that we are blessed enough to have, sat infront of your PC.
