Big Sean releases the much anticipated video for his second single off the Finally Famous album, Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay featuring Kanye West and Roscoe Dash.  The video is directed by Hype Williams, this is his first time working with Big Sean but has worked on well-known Kanye videos such as ‘Gold Digger’ and ‘All Of The Lights’.

The video is very colourful with Hype’s signature look of a simple coloured backdrop with most of the lighting aimed towards the middle creating a circular look in the centre of the picture. The duo are dressed in colourful casual suits complimenting the colourful backdrops and the outfits and make-up of the girls within the video. The video uses a few stylistic devices that have been done to death in various videos. The video is very reminiscent of Hype’s previous work such as ‘Video Phone’ and ‘Gold Digger’.

Considering the hype around Big Sean, the Experience Hype has gained through his years of directing music videos and Kanye’s involvement, surely the three could have created a better video, what do you think?
