We live in a world of throw-away, fast fashion. Clothes aren’t made to last. Clothes are made in sweatshops with workers employed by child-labour who are slaving away for next to nothing. Here’s a brand which challenges this ‘fast-fashion’…trikki.
Take a look at trikki’s current winter collection featuring muted blues, greys, and gritty, earth inspired designs. All of trikki’s clothes are very wearable for the everyday guy. What I find particularly innovative is the way their military jackets (below far right) can look completely different zipped up/hood up/zipped down. So for all you lazy guys out there, you’re getting 3 looks in 1.
We got an exclusive sneak-peak at the concept for trikki’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection:
“trikki’s Spring Summer offering is derived from an influence of revolution and the blood and pain it generates in spite of its final goals. Entitled ‘dead sunny’ it is a distressed and worn-in collection using trikki’s combination of innovative design and quality fabrics. Painstakingly detailed hand-drawn graphics emblazon a limited range of 100% cotton tees. Also in 2012 will be a further development of trikki’s trouser offering.”
We can’t wait for new trikki!
So boys, get down to trikki for clothes that look good and give you a warm glow inside knowing that the garments are 100% ethical. (If you’re quick, you might catch the 50% sale AND delivery is free in the UK and Europe.)
